After All, We Were Young.

casually harsh musings including but not limited to screenwriting, good books, pop culture, but most importantly...ice cream.

Realization and action aren’t the same thing.  Which is something I’ve known and always told myself for quite a while, but only recognizing that statement to be true contradicts its very nature.
Right now, my left contact is irritating and I’m seeing half my vision in blur and half in clarity, which I will of course take as symbolic enlightenment.   I know I’ve changed and grown and done hard work, but there’s plenty more change, growth, and work to come.
There are plenty of things I like about myself, and plenty I don’t.  So I have a new solution:  When I don’t like what I’m doing, simply stop and don’t do that thing anymore.  No frills, no loopholes.  And this applies to a myriad of aspects of my life.  And that means a myriad of change.
